Beastly Supercharged 5.0 Mustang BLOWS Stock Motor On The Street!

This is some excellent footage from south of the Border, where street racing is King!

This is one of those videos that is better experienced in full screen with the volume set to eleven. Despite some occasional wind noise, which is a given in these videos. The video kicks off with a nice walk-through of the cars, giving you a good look at the players on the streets of Mexico. From there, the action kicks off with a host of roll races between all of the cars.

Midway through the action, the supercharged 5.0 Mustang pulls alongside the camera car, an 800 HP ‘Vette, and rolls out to a carlength or so lead when a trail of smoke begins to pour ominously from the rear of the car. Upon inspection, the damage is revealed to have been caused by the blower seizing up, so hopefully the internal damage wasn’t too bad. After that, it’s back to the action on for a few more top end pulls!
