Tonights epic Street Outlaws season finale centered around Memphis ringleader JJ Da Boss and his Armdrop Drags, a no-rules, first-to-the-stripe-wins race that brought racers from all over the country to take a shot at the $60,000 in total payouts.

The last race of the night, and of season nine, featured small tire winner JJ Da Boss in his pickup truck known as Ol Heavy lining up with big tire winner Big Chief in his new Crow GTO with bragging rights on the line, which mean more to these two than any amount of money. Since the truck was on small tires, JJ asked for the back tire, meaning Big Chief would line his front tires up with JJ’s rear tires, and the break, which means Big Chief couldn’t leave until he saw Da Boss and his truck move. Together, these stipulations would serve to give JJ about a two car head start, which if all had gone according to plan, just might have been enough to hold of the faster car from OKC.
However, as things tend to do with the Memphis Madman, things deviated from the plan when JJ’s tuneup proved to be a tad too hot and the truck launched skyward. With no wheelie bars to keep things in check, the truck would drag the bumper, forcing JJ to lift and that would prove more than enough to let the Crow drive around and take a convincing two car length win. This was an excellent way to end an awesome night of racing as well as another successful season of the best racing show on television!
