Bob Helms and Underground Racing takes home the title of King of the Streets at Texas Invitational
When it comes to half mile events, you can expect to see Underground Racing somewhere near the top, if not taking the crown all for themselves. This time, a barrage of UGR cars headed out to King of the Streets at the Texas Invitational and ended up completely dominating!
First and foremost, we have to congratulate Bob Helms as he managed to take home the KOTS title for the seventh time. He’s always been a top contender, as you can probably tell, and this one will make a nice collection to the trophy case as he powered through the competition in his Underground Racing X Version Twin Turbo Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera LP570.
“Underground Racing cars finished 1st through 4th in the King of the Streets putting down astonishing trap speeds all day long. The 2015 KOTS Champion Sebastian Robles with Kevin Howeth driving his Underground Racing Twin Turbo Audi R8 GT set a mind blowing new event record at 220 MPH!!!” –Underground Racing
Underground tells us that they’re proud of their clients who competed in the event as they very well should be. Seeing your cars take home all of the top spots is definitely something that is worthy of praise! Check out the video below that captures all of the high-intensity action that the event had to offer.
