Bugatti: Car Manufacturer Unveils Design for Car to Be Featured in ‘Gran Turismo’ Video Game
Even to the most casual of car enthusiasts, the Bugatti Veyron is commonly seen as the patriarch of everything that’s fast. Making over 1,000 horsepower and having a price tag well into the millions does tend to give a car a little bit of notoriety.
However, as a part of a challenge to create a virtual video game car, Bugatti will unveil a full-scale show car of the “Bugatti Vision Grand Turismo” at the Frankfurt Motor Show later on this month and we have managed to get our hands on the first images released of the car.
Furthermore, this car is slated to spiral into something that will go on to replace the Bugatti Veyron with an even more powerful and probably more expensive platform.
When speaking to the inspiration for the build, Frank Heyl, the head of Exterior Design for Production Development at Bugatti tells us “We wanted to create a project as realistic as possible for our fans and put a real Bugatti in the virtual world of the PlayStation video game franchise.”
Now, what does all of this mean to those who are lucky enough to have the bank account to support such a hobby or just want to get the chance to see these things in good old brick and mortar action?
Here comes to juicy part. Speculation tells us that this car will be a prelude to the actual production car that many are thinking will be dubbed the “Chiron” that those same experts are saying should be revealed to us at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show next March.
What are our first impressions? While the car isn’t a reality just yet, we can’t help but drool over the voluptuous curves and sharp angles that make the car as amazing as it is. Take a minute to soak in all that these teaser pictures have to offer and tell us what you think of the latest concept that Bugatti has to offer.
