Building a motorized go-kart with no welder and simple tools!

For someone who doesn’t have an abundance of mechanical knowledge, getting out there in the garage and trying something out can be a little bit intimidating but this time, Colin Furze comes along to show you that you don’t need to be a genius to have fun on a budget.

Sure, Furze does seem to have more knowledge than most on subjects like this but in this particular build, he doesn’t really use that much complex thought as he basically bolts this thing together with some basic parts in his own garage, similarly to what just about anyone else could do with a little bit of patience.

With a couple of basic parts and basic tools to throw them together, Furze is able to build a go-kart that he says could possibly be good for 60 mph. That’s completely flying when you are thinking of tackling the pavement in something that small.

Check out the video below that shows how easily something like this could really be and tell us if you think of this as something that you would be able to wrench together in your very own garage.
