Introducing The AWD 2020 Cadillac CT6-V A Factory Twin Turbo V8 Powered Monster, Reviewing
The Cadillac brand has a way of coming out with machines that we can’t help but admire sometimes. Unfortunately, though, it seems as if many of these machines will end up being cut from line. Just last year, Cadillac has announced that they will be getting rid of the CTS-V.
To make things a little bit more depressing, that CT6-V that we see here, the machine that’s nothing short of incredible, is slated to be made in extremely limited numbers. However, we do feel pretty fortunate that we’re at least able to get our eyes on it.
The car in question has found a way to fly under the radar to an extent. Within the Cadillac CT6-V, we find a whole collection of incredible unique features. Essentially, it’s outfitted like a luxury car. However, it has the feel of raw American muscle, just the way that we like it.
Powered by its very own 4.2 L twin-turbo V8 only found in this platform, the machine makes 550 hp and 640 pound-feet of torque. All that is getting to the ground through an all-wheel-drive system. Power to all four wheels isn’t something that we are too familiar with an American muscle machine context. However, the thought of it just makes us all tingly inside. The chill down the spine factor is real.
This time, we get the opportunity to ride along with the Throttle House YouTube channel as they dive inside and get a good look at the car. On the outside, while slick, the car is certainly a bit unsuspecting. However, when the driver throws the throttle to the floor, there’s a whole lot of nasty there to be unleashed. There is certainly something to be said about these wolves in sheep’s clothing. If we’re lucky, maybe Cadillac will continue to make these beasts powered by the almighty Blackwing.
