Camaro Driver Pushes A Little Too Hard, Veers Off Road And Rolls Over
When you’re in the infancy of figuring out how to control a vehicle, there are certainly steps to it. As a youngster, I can remember wanting to get my hands on the fastest possible car that I could for my first car, however, my parents, with seemingly infinite wisdom, stepped in and said they probably didn’t think that it was a smart idea for me to get the fastest thing that I could get my hands on at the age of 16. Why was this? Well, you see, it only naturally follows that the only way to learn how to handle power is to ease your way into it, figuring out just where the limits of the car lie before you go all out and, as a 16-year-old, let’s be honest, I probably wouldn’t have been able to keep my foot out of the throttle for any longer than it took to get me to the end of the street that my house was on.
Now, I’m not necessarily saying that you have to be 16 years old for something like this to happen to you, because it can happen to just about anybody. As we have seen, there’ve been a lot of people leaving car shows, many of which have probably been well-versed automotive automotive enthusiasts, that decided lay into the gas and put their cars into curbs, walls, crowds, and everything else. If it’s that easy to slip into a crash in a straight line, just imagine how easy it would be to do the same when trying to throw your car around in the turns.
This time, we follow along with a video that has a caption that leads us to believe that the person behind the wheel of the car pictured here has just gotten their hands on a Chevrolet Camaro 1LE, presumably the 6-cylinder model. With the spirit of trying to keep up with a buddy who had a Camaro SS, the person behind the wheel here would push the car just a little bit too far which would lead to it veering off of the road and eventually rolling over. Luckily, there were no life-threatening injuries sustained here and, while it might’ve been an expensive and terrifying lesson, it was still a lesson learned nevertheless… or at least we would hope.
