Careless Boaters Send Dog Overboard with Boat at Full Throttle
An important thing to remember in life is that every time that you see a situation unfolding, there are two sides to every story. Just because somebody looks like they are in the right or the wrong doesn’t necessarily mean that that’s the way it is, in reality. After all, many times, videos can be trimmed and edited in such a way that can really support one side of an argument or the other. However, other times, you simply see videos that make you scratch your head in confusion and wonder exactly what someone was thinking when they acted in the way that they did.
I think that most people would agree when I say that this is one of those videos where there isn’t much to explain. It really takes the concept of carelessness and neglect to a whole new level when it comes to how you take care of animals. Honestly, I think it’s enough to make any animal lover’s skin crawl and tie their stomach into a knot as a day on the water would turn into a decision-making process that wasn’t exactly the greatest. While all parties involved here did walk away alright, this one definitely could’ve gotten a lot nastier and the folks involved are very lucky that It didn’t take a turn for the worse. Heck, I could even see this turning into an animal cruelty charge.
If you check out the video below, you’ll see the scene from on board a boat as it rips through the water, causing a dog onboard to go a little bit crazy as it appears as if the animal didn’t quite have its sea legs just yet. As it would run back and forth on the boat, the people on board would simply laugh and film the incident as the dog continued to run. I can recall the first time that I watched through this video, practically wanting to scream at them through the screen and tell them to make sure that the dog was safe because you can tell that the little animal is going to go overboard at any minute.
From there, the rest is history as the dog lost its footing and went for a swim at high speeds. Luckily, the animal caught its bearings without droning or being hit by a boat.
