Climbing a Ladder with an Excavator, This Takes Some Serious Skills

What can we even say about this guy?! I know I personally would be lost trying to do anything in this excavator beyond turn the key to crank it, but this operator is climbing this ladder – built just for this type of exhibition – and making it look easy!

Not only is the excavator operator confident enough in his abilities to climb this structure without so much as a helmet on , but the television host below is brave enough to stand under the massive machine as it’s climbing. This is an amazing display of precision and control, not to mention the strength of the hydraulic system to lift the excavator itself completely off the ground and up the ladder!

We certainly have to respect this guy and his skill. One slip of the hand, or a misalignment of the tracks or the arm could have easily sent him and the excavator crashing to the ground below. Instead, he made his machine do exactly what he wanted and put on a great show for the crowd in attendance!
