Colorado Officer Gives Hilarious Demonstration On When To Use Left Lane

Sometimes, it seems like there are folks out there who just simply cannot grasp the basics of driving. Either they are just too blind to the world in order to partake in courteous driving practices or they don’t care. Because of this, there are plenty of attitudes on public roadways that many would consider to be among their list of pet peeves. With the way that some people act, it can be incredibly easy to see just how one might become incredibly frustrated with some of the actions that others take on public roadways.

Perhaps one of the most egregious examples of such a violation of common courtesy and the law alike would be that of not using the proper lane for passing or cruising. Let us say this one more time just so that everybody can hear it. There is no debate as to the fact that the left lane is for passing. On the contrary, for those who just want to cruise along at the speed limit, the right lane is for them. No matter how basic this concept seems, there’s always somebody who can’t seem to abide by this basic rule. It’s really unfortunate and can actually end up creating dangerous situations on the roadway.

Now, this could be something to get all worked up about. However, for this Colorado State Patrol officer, it seems as if he’s taking it in stride. While it probably irritates him just as much as it does the rest of us, he decided to make a joke out of it instead. By following along with the video below, we get to join in with his demonstration of explaining how exactly the roadways work. Hopefully, there will come a day and age where the sarcastic demonstration doesn’t have an undertone of seriousness to it. I might be asking for a little bit too much but maybe people will understand one day what lane they are supposed to be driving in.

This Colorado officer has a reminder for drivers about the left lane.

Friendly reminder: Here's what the left lane is for…
