Compilation of Cars Doing Wheelies On The Streets!
When it comes to sending a message that you are not to be taken lightly in the street racing world, there are few things you can do more effective that dragging the bumper on the asphalt. While it seems like it would be all but impossible to get any car to bite hard enough to send the nose skyward on public roadways, but we have a compilation of several street raced cars doing exactly that.
These aren’t just little wheel stands either, we’re talking about full-on, pedal-or-risk-crashing, oil-pan-and-headers-destroying wheelies that are just an absolute thing of beauty, especially since we aren’t the ones in the driver’s seat or footing the bill for any damage done to the car returning violently to earth. A few of these cars should look pretty familiar, especially to those of you who watch Street Outlaws and Street Outlaws New Orleans, both of which are represented in this montage.
Street Outlaws star Big Chief in the original Crow launches hard, but his wheelie bars keep things in check for the most part. However, Murder Nova isn’t quite so lucky, as he didn’t have bars on his car for this particular pass, leaving the nose free to climb as high as Shawn was willing to let it ride. There’s also a couple of appearances by Travis Santacruz from the New Orleans crew in his badass Trans Am, launching hard at Da Pad despite being on small tires!
This just goes to show you that these cars are setup to work so well on the street, and have an abundance of power that the drivers have to keep in check each time they drop the hammer, even on a surface as tricky as the street. Let us know in the comments which wheel stand is your favorite, we’d love to know which of these you guys like the best!
