Cop Tricked Into Thinking Prison Escapee is a Jogger
If there’s one situation that’s a tough one to figure out the logistics of, it would be escaping from prison. I don’t think that it’s a situation that most of us would find ourselves in, but when you start to think of what someone in those shoes is going to have to go through in order to prevent further detection, things can get rather crazy. One thing that would probably escalate the intensity of that plan a little bit would be if a police officer were to stop you after your escape and start questioning you. Coming up with answers on the spot could be rather tough to crack into.
This time, we check out a situation that shows off just that. When a man made his escape happen by using the mail system to ship himself out of jail after being locked up for a double homicide during a burgulary gone wrong, he had to figure out how to stay concealed and when he was found jogging by some train tracks, well, let’s just say that it was time for this escapee to put up or shut up, talking quickly and coming up with a whole backstory as to how he was just jogging along, completing details about how he’s from out of town and he’s allegedly in town doing a roofing job, therefore mixing up the details a bit as to try and throw the officer off of his tracks.
It’s a pretty interesting situation to watch as the officer questions the man that we later discovered to be Richard Mcnair, and with each question, the prison escapee comes up with a better and better answer as to not reveal his true identity. It’s crazy to think about and when you watch it happen in front of your eyes, the dramatic irony of knowing something that this officer doesn’t might just have you on the edge of your seat!
