Crazy Karens vs Fisherman Really Makes us Question if This is Real Life

In this wild world that we live in, there are so-called “Karens” just about everywhere. For those who aren’t familiar with what a Karen is, it’s basically the term that has been assigned to somebody who constantly complains or simply can never mind their own business. At this point, we kind of feel bad for people who were given the name Karen at birth but that’s beside the point.

One interesting corner of the Karen world that we found is that of fishing. Now, you might be wondering how exactly Karens and fishing can go together. It might be a little bit confusing. However, when we hop into a couple of clips, it quickly becomes very apparent just how these sorts of people can do their best to interfere with just about every aspect of life.

In this one, we have to admit that we don’t know the context around some of these situations. However, from where we’re sitting, it looks pretty bad for the people who questioned these fishermen. We use “questioned” loosely because in some situations you could go so far as saying that these Karens were harassing the fisherman.

It seems like the people holding the rods and reels here simply wanted to cast in a line and maybe catch a couple of fish. However, there are frequently people interfering and trying to chase them off. It doesn’t matter if it’s a public pond or the middle of a marina, somewhere, there is a Karen lurking trying to enforce a law that’s likely nonexistent.

It’s really unclear to us why exactly some folks feel the need to interfere in just about everything. One of these people calling out the fisherman even went so far as jumping into the water when the fisherman wouldn’t leave in their boat.
