Crushing an aluminum piston with a hydrualic press is extremely satifying to watch
At this point in the scheme of smashing things into oblivion with a hydraulic press, we might just have to call the press the overall winner.
Now, it’s not so much about if different objects and materials can stand up to the press, but rather what it looks like when they eventually do get destroyed because it seems quite inevitable at this point.
This time, the object of satisfaction is nothing more than a piston head that so easily gets ground into piston bits without the press so much as thinking twice about the task.
It’s hard to imagine something that experiences extreme heat and revolves at thousands of times per minute giving in to pressure that easily, but lo and behold, it does.
Check out the demolition in the video below as the piston gives a good fight, but ends up losing in just a matter of moments.
