CTS-V vs. Corvette C7 – Catastrophic Engine Failure!

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray goes up against a Cadillac CTS-V at the WannaGoFast event in Horseshoe Bay located near Marble Falls, TX.

C7 – Supercharged, cam, headers, meth injection, tires/wheels.
CTS-V – Ported blower, pulley, nitrous, street tires.

Oh yeah, she is the owner of the corvette…

At about the 2000ft mark, the stock bottom end let go and grenaded piston pieces down the remainder of the track.

Randy the CTS-V driver was a good sport about it and already has plans to go back with forged internals on a 416 with a Whipple! Can’t wait to see it terrorizing the streets SOON!
