Death by Small Block – US 13 Brawl For it ALL

We recently discovered US 13 Dragway when they hosted some of the biggest names in the no prep world, bringing in the heavy hitters to take on a team of their local badasses to see who could tame the track and take home the win. Now we’re revisiting the Delaware facility to check out their Death By Small Block event with this footage brought to you by the Hopkins Performance Solutions YouTube channel.

The video is just over four minutes of badass small, tire-equipped block-powered cars taking on the track, which is once again unprepped to keep things interesting. Starting in the opening round, we see some of these cars planting the tire and toting the front wheels, proving they have their suspensions working perfectly despite the lack of track prep.

It’s pretty clear from the beginning of the race that the race of the day will come when the Blue Bullet Camaro lines up with the Boosted Deuce Chevy II, and that race happens in the semi finals, where the pair of boosted small blocks face off to see who advances to the finals. Both cars sound amazing and put on one hell of a race, with the Blue Bullet Camaro taking the win and moving on to take on the wheelstanding Boogeyman S10.

In the finals, it’s a battle of nitrous vs turbo and on this day the turbo reigns supreme despite another spectacular wheelstand from the good looking S-dime known as Boogeyman. The truck launches hard with the nose reaching high into the air and carrying it well past the 60 markers. However, the boosted F-Body in the other lane just had too much top end and crossed the stripe first, taking the win and earning the payday, which totaled $2,500 for the day.
