Demo Team Showcases The Insane Maneuverability Of The F-22 Raptor For The First Time In History
There’s something about a fighter jet in action that almost seems to defy gravity.
When a pilot really knows what they’re doing behind the sticks, they can put on the show of a lifetime. Only a select few will ever be able to pilot a beast like the F-22. For those that have been in control of such a machine, it has to be quite the adrenaline rush. We’re not sure if there’s much on the planet that could touch the feeling.
Luckily, we’re able to go along for the ride here to see what that’s like.
In this one, we get to check out a first when it comes to one of the craziest machines on the face of planet Earth.
The F-22 Raptor Demo Team reports “For the very first time, we’re excited to bring you up close for an exclusive look at each maneuver of the F-22 demonstration flown by Maj. Josh ‘Cabo’ Gunderson. From the raw thrust of the max vertical takeoff to the extreme maneuverability of the pedal turn and tailslide, we hope you enjoy taking a ride inside the cockpit of one of the world’s most technologically advanced fighter jets.”
Thanks to modern camera technology, we’re able to get to so many different places and situations on earth. In fact, we get the feeling that situations like this are precisely what these sorts of technology were made for. Having a first-person view here is really something special. Even from this side of the screen, the sensation is rather intense.
But following along with the video below, we get to go where few have gone before… Except for the other half-million people who have watched the wild video already. Let’s just say there’s a pretty good reason why this clip is trending.
