It’s no secret that diesel is quite a viable racing solution if big numbers in both the power and torque categories are what you’re looking for.

This time, we check out a diesel powered Nitro Funny Car that makes plenty of power. Maybe it makes a little too much power. Yeah, that’s a thing believe it or not!

With a turbo aided engine cranking out upwards of 150 PSI of boost, calling for a mean 2500hp at the tire, things can get out of hand rather quickly if everything isn’t aligned he just right.

Check out the video below as this diesel powerhouse soars down the dragstrip and ends up getting a little bit sideways, taking out some of the time boxes. This is one wild ride to say the least!
