Diesel Truck vs Fuel Cell Truck! What One is Faster?
Every single day, technology is changing to make transportation better all the way around, making it not only quicker and easier but also more efficient in term of your monetary investment and the footprint that it leaves behind on the environment because, at the end of the day, all of the above is important.
This time, we check out an alternative energy source that looks to be quite promising and keep the environment intact all at the same time. With Toyota’s hydrogen fuel cell technology, this demonstration shows us that the future is a promising time indeed.
Toyota says that the technology is “One of [their] most promising fuel sources” and “is lighter than air and incredibly pure. When used in a fuel cell, it is highly efficient and leaves no carbon-emissions behind. And best of all, it’s pretty much everywhere.” On top of all of that, it looks to be able to create much more power, Toyota says enough to power an entire building, in fact.
This time, we check out a pair of tractor trailers with a GVW of 35,000lbs, one powered by diesel and the other powered by hydrogen as they go head-to-head to see which one is better at hauling a load. We would recommend that you check out the video down below because the results might just shock you!
