Rust is never the friend of anybody is trying to put together an effective automobile. Heck, we don’t even have to be talking about people who are looking to make showpieces. Even those who are looking to get around on the streets safely in any sort of conventional vehicle have to worry about rust and its effects should it start to take over your car or truck. One of the most worrisome places that you could think of for rust is that of the frame and it it grows too far, you have a lot to worry about on your hands. If the integrity of your frame starts to waver, you could be looking at a vehicle that’s bent in half before you know it.

Now, should your frame need to be repaired, we would probably recommend taking it to a professional, however, with this video, they give you a crack at trying something like this out for yourself, piecing together the current frame that you have under your vehicle if it has suffered a good amount of damage. This isn’t a job for the faint of heart but if you have the right tools for it and think that you’re ready to take it on for yourself, it could definitely be something that would save you a ton of money. You’d just need to weigh out if saving that money is really worth it or not when compared to your ability.

Personally, I’m not sure if I’d have the ability to do something like this but watching the guy in the video really makes it look easy. He has quite a knack for carrying out this job as the finished product looks nothing short of a professional endpoint that anyone could be proud of.
