Dodge Cummins Annihilates Rear End Trying to Beat a Corvette!

Drag racing on the strip is a format that takes on all comers, whether you’re driving a car, truck, or something in between, everyone can join in. However, you’d better make sure that your ride is built to take on the abuse that’s coming because otherwise, you might end up paying big time. It might seem pretty straightforward, but that sticky drag strip is a surface that can really be unforgiving when it grabs your tires and unleashes havoc on your parts!

This time, we check out a late model Dodge Ram and the Cummins powered monster isn’t doing so hot out there on the strip as the driver is taking on a C6 Chevrolet Corvette and things get pretty intense when the rear end just can’t seem to handle the power and ends up hopping out and leaving. This guy didn’t just do some destruction to an axle or the gears but had the whole entire rear end up and leave like it was being evicted for not paying the rent!

Hopefully, the driver was able to get that thing off of the track and put back together before long. It really isn’t fun to watch someone’s pride and joy get put out of commission like that but that’s just one of the risks that you take when you head out to the drag strip!
