Does the “LSX KLR” Live up to its Name? 8-Second Turbo Rocket!
In all forms of drag racing, there are some interesting dynamics playing out behind the scenes of the actual race itself. While some racers just prefer to bring forth their best effort in race while remaining silent, others make it their duty to stir the pot. To them, the tears of the opposition just taste so sweet
With a name like “LSX Killer,” we don’t think that it takes too much guess work to decide which category the owner of this boosted Ford Mustang happens to fall into. The only question left to ask is if the car can actually live up to its tags, a tall task indeed.
The only way to it is to do it and that’s exactly what this car does as the turbo Mustang blasts its way down the lanes at the Import vs Domestic World Cup Finals at Maryland international Raceway, spanning the gap between the starting line and the finish line, a quarter mile apart, all within the time frame of right around nine seconds flat. The car even manages to crack into the high eight-second range.
The BigKleib34 cameras are on and rolling to capture the action in this one as the sinister Ford rolls down the lanes and makes light work of the racing surface. Is this new age Mustang really an LSX killer though? I guess that will be a question that we will leave for you to decide.
