Does This Count as a Double Backflip? Maximum Destruction Airs it Out

Tom Meents is a madman!!! But, to attempt a double backflip in a monster truck, that’s basically a prerequisite, right?!

Maximum Destruction has become one of, if not the most popular truck in the insanely popular Monster Jam series, winning over legions of fans young and old because Meents and the other Max D drivers – Neil Elliot and Morgan Kane – push the truck to the brink of insanity and beyond at every single event! However, Meents, the team owner and featured driver, decided to push the boundaries even farther by trying a double backflip, and he actually landed it!

Yeah, the landing was a little rough, as he clearly destroyed the front suspension under his truck, but he left the ground, rotated two full rotations and landed on the wheels, so that’s a huge, gnarly, badass win in our book! We can’t wait to see what Meents and the Max D team have in store next, and you can bet it won’t be long before they’re looking for the next monster trick to add to the show!
