For most, buying a car isn’t an experience that they want to go through. However, for people like me, we like to see it as a sort of game where the prize is the perfect gift to yourself. If you arm yourself with enough knowledge, you can turn buying a used car from a dreaded experience to one that will really make you excited to get a good deal. Now, in the used car market, there are definitely a lot of people who are afraid that they are going to get worked over, shelling out their hard earned money on a product that isn’t going to deliver for them in the long run. It’s a reasonable fear as there are a good portion of used car salesmen who will sell you whatever junk will put money in their pocket. However, there are some steps that you can take to get around that.

There are a lot of articles and videos out there that would explain to you how to use the best practices of buying a used car but we found that this video, in particular, by the guys over at Donut Media really got in-depth while presenting the facts in a straight up matter. Basically, they provide us with a nice little check list of the things that you should and should not do when you head out to look at any used car. It’s almost to the point where you can practically write these things down and bring them up with the owner of the vehicle when you go to look at the ride of your choosing.
