Doug DeMuro Unpacks the Hottest Car of the Year in C8 Corvette (His Most Requested Review!)

As we roll strongly into 2020, we can’t help but be grateful for the offerings in the automotive world. There are several vehicles that are super easy to get excited about. However, we have to say that, perhaps the biggest hype train is following behind the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette. If you ask us, it’s a close battle between the Vette and the return of the Toyota Supra.

This time, we dig into the former as the 2020 Corvette seems to have people across the board in awe. There have been rumors around the water cooler the Corvette was going to swap to a mid-engine combination for years. However, we’ve been hearing that for several generations. I’m not too sure that many people would’ve bet that this rumor would’ve ever come true.

I guess that one could say that, with all of the build-up, the 2020 Corvette really has a lot to live up to. Every generation of Corvette is going to come with some sort of high expectation. After all, the model has built itself on being that cheap option to supercars that provides a similar level of performance. However, now that the driveline configuration has changed, the Corvette is a closer competitor to a supercar than ever before.

This time, we get the long-awaited Doug DeMuro review of the C8. For those familiar with DeMuro, they will attest to the fact that Doug really goes over these cars, high and low, pointing out every last quirk and detail. He leaves no stone unturned in informing and educating us about some of the most obscure and popular releases to ever hit the market.

We’ve seen several YouTube influencers that have given their opinions on the Corvette. However, we think that the level of detail that DeMuro dives into is simply unmatched. Ride along with the video below and be sure to tell us what you think of the latest and greatest Corvette as it has finally made its way to the streets.
