Drag Racing in Thailand Looks Extremely Sketchy! Yikes!

You know what they say, if it has a set of wheels on it, there’s a good chance that someone, somewhere, will figure out how to race it. This time, we head out to Thailand to catch up with one of the most obscure racing machines that you’ll probably ever see when a sort of homemade scooter has an engine strapped up to it and it takes a trip down the drag strip. If you want to talk about a sketchy trip down the track, these guys have certainly figured out a way to perfect it!

Watching this clip will really put you on edge as these machines that appear to be powered by a lawnmower engine look like they’re ready to throw the rider off at any point in time, giving them one long and painful skid down the drag strip if they aren’t careful.

On the other hand, though, you really have to hand it to these guys for using what they had available to them to make it down the strip.This really goes to show you that it doesn’t matter how much money you have, if you really want to satisfy that need for speed, with enough creativity and research, you can make it happen. On same note, I don’t know if I personally would be brave enough to hop on one of these things and head down the track at full throttle.
