Technology can do so many amazing things and in this one, we find out how, even if you don’t have any friends to go wakeboarding with you, that you can still go out and enjoy the fun on the water, all by yourself. I mean heck, you don’t even need a boat! In this one, we are shown a cool contraption that will allow you to enjoy a day on the water with nothing more than yourself, your board, and a little bit of rope to pull you along. Come with us as we check out the personal drone that makes everyday reality begin to feel like a scene out of the Jetsons.
In this one, the only concern that I would have with something like this is if it ends up saving you money over buying an actual boat or not. I get that it’s not a direct competitor for boats but, you’re really left to wonder if investing in a personal drone for the sole purpose of heading out on the water is really worth it versus just buying a nice little watercraft. From a brief search, it looks like a cheap version of a drone that could pull a person would bring north of $15,000.
However, if you have the money that it takes to get a drone of your very own to take you wakeboarding then more power to you! I’m sure that this thing is able to attract all kinds of attention for someone as they hit the water, waving to passersby as the people stare in amazement when you’re rolling around with your new drone!
Check out the video down below that shows off what this obscure creation is all about and be sure to tell us if this is something that you can see yourself doing. This most certainly would be something a little bit different to get used to but, in the long-haul, it may all be worth it!
Drone surfing is real.
