Dropping an Anvil on a Car From a 500+ Foot Swiss Dam
We have seen some pretty crazy things go down on YouTube, all in the name of just trying it out to see what happens. Perhaps, there’s also a sprinkling of “let’s try to get as many views as possible” in there as well.
This time, we check in with a video that does a little bit of both. The idea here is to take on a Swiss Dam that is 165 m tall. For everyone who stateside, that equates to over 500 feet in height. In this project, the idea is to set up a variety of different everyday objects on the ground, mainly a trampoline, a car, and a some other random things like a drum set. After that, the game is on to try and drop very heavy items from the top of the dam and see just how much damage they do to the prey below.
Things get pretty interesting as the items being dropped range from a rock to a bowling ball and even a massive anvil. It looks like a pretty tough venture to try and aim for something from that high up but we guarantee you that these heavy duty objects make some pretty solid contact with the stuff down below and when they do, the sound is insane and the visual is even crazier. That’s a lot of space to accelerate and absolutely obliterate whatever is in the way. We certainly wouldn’t want to be on the wrong end of a mistake here because it would certainly be fatal.
Down in the video below, we check in with the video from How Ridiculous that essentially embodies the “for the boys” trend. For those who have tuned in today looking for a little bit of destruction and maybe an explosion or two, this is definitely the right place.
