Dually Duel: 2017 Ford F-350 vs Chevy Silverado 3500 vs Ram 3500 Drag Race
For most of those heading out to pick up a dually, the truck’s ability to compete in a drag race probably isn’t on the short list of factors that they want to consider at the top of their priorities. Instead, things like comfort and towing capacity might be a couple of metrics that are a little bit more relevant in the decision-making process.
This time, however, out of pure curiosity, the guys over at TFL Truck headed out with the aim of putting all of the brand-new big three to the test in a straight line, putting the 2017 Ford F-350 up against the same model year Chevrolet Silverado 3500 and Ram 3500, all with a dually rear axle.
These things might be brutal powerhouses but with the massive weight that goes alongside that power, they aren’t exactly racing machines but for some reason, the slower than average races are incredibly fun to watch and leave us wondering which one of these trucks will come out on top at the end of the day.
See for yourself below which one of these brutes manages to come as number one in this unlikely comparison that has the workhorses battling outside of their element. What other tests could you think of that would make these trucks go through lengths that they wouldn’t normally go through in conventional tests?
