Dukes of Hazzard – This is How the General Lee Was Born
When it comes to cars that have seen the TV screen and built up a following that make them more famous than the actors themselves, there is a short list of cars that everyone has to rank near the top and the General Lee is most certainly one of those cars at the top of the list of famousness, no matter who you ask.
Even though many might never have seen the Dukes of Hazard to see exactly how it was that such a flamboyant ride came about or what the purpose of it was, most adults with a set of eyeballs recognize the bright orange Dodge Charger that is quite “in your face.”
In this one, we dive into a build up sequence that shows the rickety old Mopar that goes from junkyard crap to a bright and shiny race worthy machine that used its appearance in the television show to catapult its way right into the hearts of many.
