Emily Reeves Does a Full LS Swap on a 1963 Nova wagon!

In this day and age, technology has evolved to such a point in the automotive world where it has become a lot easier to make decent power on a budget. For many, this power is coming from the General Motors LS series of engines. A lot of times, you’ll see them hanging out in the world of classic cars because many of the original engines found in these cars like the inline six found in this 1963 Chevrolet Nova wagon just simply won’t make the car fun to drive. Sure, they might be reliable and easy to fix but when it comes down to it, something with a little bit more kick can make the car a lot better to drive.

This time, we check out an 18-year-old’s 1963 Nova wagon that is getting a little bit of a heart transplant and does so all within the span of a half hour of video time. Tune in and watch as the machine has been prepared for the engine swap and now is finally receiving the new heart that it deserves.

I would be inclined to think that the sluggish old inline six being replaced with a 6.2L LS3 should wake this thing up a good bit. Even though the LS3, the factory engine that you might find in cars like a C6 Chevrolet Corvette, should be enough to make this car a blast to be behind the wheel of, should the owner want to turn up the volume another notch, the engine has tons of potential tap into when he sees fit and has the money to throw at it.

Follow along in the video down below that will take you inside of this engine swap that brings this old-school Chevrolet into the modern era. After watching it all godown, be sure to tell us what you think of engine swaps like these because I know that there are a good amount of people out there who are on both sides of the coin with swaps like these.
