Erik Roner, 39, Dies After Freak Skydiving Accident

If you’ve ever watched an episode of Nitro Circus, you might be familiar with stuntman, Erik Roner. Roner was known not only for his off the wall athletic ability, but also for his memorable personality on the show.

We regret to inform you, however, that while parachuting into a celebrity golf game with two other skydivers, Erik ended up missing the mark and falling into a tree. He was transported to the hospital where he would later be pronounced dead.

We here at Speed Society will always remember Erik and would like to offer our condolences along with our support for his friends and family in their time of need.

Travis Pastrana said it best by stating that, “Erik was an amazing person who made everyone and everything around him better. His smile, laughter and personality will be missed by everyone at Nitro Circus. Most importantly he has a beautiful wife and amazing kids that will miss him dearly. He is gone… But will never be forgotten.”
