Everything We Know About the 2021 Tesla Roadster as of November 2020
One thing that we’ve noticed about Tesla is that they don’t want to just fill a market need. Sure, good fuel economy is one metric that can sell cars all by itself. Essentially, by becoming the largest automaker in the world, Tesla has shown that taking fuel out of the equation is something that consumers want. However, they aren’t going to stop there. Instead, as guided by Elon Musk, Tesla pushes forward into the future, carving out their own path as they attempt to mold the future as we know it.
There are a lot of ways that the company has chosen to do this. One of those ways, though, comes in the fact that they try to make electric vehicles cool. It isn’t just a halfhearted effort to spruce them up, either. Instead, it seems as if Musk has placed a lot of focus on bringing Tesla to life as a brand that can be something to be proud of, whether it’s as a luxury car or as a performance machine.
Before the electric car rose to prominence, I think that a lot of us had a not so cool picture of the concept in our heads. It was probably some quirky machine that we had envisioned that probably wouldn’t be too fun to drive. However, even in sedan format, Tesla has shown that they really have some performance chops and they aren’t stopping there.
Instead, Elon Musk has promised us another version of the Tesla Roadster that is supposed to be much more impressive than the first generation created long before Tesla as we know it today. Instead, the 2021 Roadster MKII promises an 8.8-second quarter mile and a top speed over 250 mph which come as part of a stat sheet packed with impressive attributes.
Down in the video below, we get a check out with what the Roadster promises to eventually become. Thanks to The Tesla Space on YouTube, we get a thorough look at everything that the model has promised to be up until this point!
