FAIL – Mustang Launches in REVERSE Street Racing

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen it and we’re sure that it won’t be the last, either. When this Ford Mustang driver lined up for a bit of street racing action, it turned out that he forgot one key component of winning a race.

Instead of throwing the car in “drive,” he accidentally selected reverse, apparently a more common phenomenon in automatic cars than we had thought.

The result, well, it’s exactly what you’d expect when the car jumps off of the line backwards, causing a brief delay before getting back in the groove and hopping to action.

Afterwards, the race would continue as normal with the car in the left lane managing to edge out the Mustang. The entire sequence can be seen in the video below!
