Farmtruck & AZN Interview (Part 2) at P.R.I. 2017

Farmtruck and AZN were all over PRI 2017, making appearances and doing interviews left and right. ORPtv lassoed the lovable duo and wrangled them into an interview at the Neal Chance Racing Converters booth, where they talked about an upcoming project – although they really don’t reveal too much info other than the fact that it’s LS-based – and a couple of the companies that have helped them in getting the Farmtruck to work as well as it does.

As much as we would love to see the Farmtruck back on the list, it’s obvious the cars on the Top 10 list have stepped up their game, and as these two point out, to keep up with the advancements, they would have to basically build a pro-mod Farmtruck, which would take away their time to build cool stuff, such as whatever top secret LS-powered project they’re working on now. While details are scant, we do know it will be something unique and off-the-charts cool.

The guys go on to talk about Neal Chance Racing Converters and how they’ve been instrumental in getting the Farmtruck dialed in. If you have never built a car or truck to race, the converter is easily one of the most crucial parts to get “right” or you combination will never run to it’s full potential. They also talk about Rossler transmission, who have worked with them as well to help line out the truck and make it the badass ride we all know and love.

A big part of making all of this work is these companies working with Farmtruck and AZN to get everything just right on their busy schedules, knowing things can get very complicated and busy for the 405’s favorite tandem. Knowing they do as much as they do pushes Farmtruck and AZN to give back as often as possible to all the companies that help them get where they are.
