Forgotten 1969 Charger Hits the Road for the First Time in 35 Years!
There are some cars that are so incredible that they will turn heads anywhere they go. Even if they aren’t in the best condition, eyes will be oogling over certain makes and models. One of those examples would be the likes of a 1969 Dodge Charger. When it comes to physically dominate muscle machines, it doesn’t get much better than this. In fact, we might even go so far as to say that this could be the machine that defines that very concept.
As true as that might seem, sometimes, life happens. Even the rarest of cars aren’t exempt from becoming a barn find one day. That’s what makes a barn find so exciting. We never know exactly what it is that we’re going to get when we find an old muscle car sitting around waiting for some love. Everything from the most common cars all the way up to a rare beast could end up in grandma’s garage, dwindling away. You never really know what’s going to be left behind for the earth to reclaim once again.
This time, the victim of time just so happens to be a 1969 Dodge Charger. This is a car that many of us would cherish if we had one. Unfortunately, though, due to unknown circumstances, this one hasn’t exactly been kept in showroom condition.
However, thanks to a willing and ready enthusiast, the car wouldn’t be left behind to die. Instead, he would get to work, firing up the car for the first time in 35 years. It’s wild to think that this thing has been sitting for longer than many of our readers have been alive. Luckily, for us, though, we’re going to get to see it fired up and driven the first time in more than three decades.
By following along with the video below, we get the unique opportunity to watch this derelict come back to life once again.
