Rebuilding Gas Monkey Garage Wrecked 1976 Chevy C10 Part 3
As they say, there is a *ahem* rear end… for every seat.
While this particular 1976 Chevrolet C10 is something that’s interesting, not just anybody would be able to take ownership of the vehicle. Instead, the new owner of this one had to be somebody with a willingness to work on it. Unfortunately, for the former Gas Monkey Garage show truck, it has seen better days. When our star of the show at Alex Rebuilds got hold of it, it had been crunched up pretty bad. Apparently, whoever was in possession of this truck ended up losing control and doing some damage.
Over the past couple of weeks, Alex has been working hard on the machine. The truck is going to be a challenge to revive. It’s certainly not an easy process but it seems like he has a pretty solid game plan. In part one and part two, he began to analyze the damage and take the truck apart a little bit.
In part three, as we see this time, it’s time to really begin to break this thing down. We watch, waiting to see what’s next as Alex begins to strip off all of the damaged parts. While the C10 is somewhat of a common platform, getting just the right parts to fit into the equation might be a bit more difficult than it sounds. This time, Alex takes us along for a ride as he does some more serious deconstruction. In this one, he begins to go over the parts that he has gathered. In turn, he even manages to get the cab of the chassis to further analyze the damage.
By following along with the clip below, we’re able to see just what exists underneath the pretty face of this Chevrolet. As he gets into the damage will Alex find that the fix is going to require more than meets the eye?
