Gidi Overcomes last year’s adversity and rockets the Alpha G GTR to 7.36 @ 200mph

Traveling down the drag strip at speeds reaching out and touching 200 mph is no small feat, especially when you have the carnage in the rearview mirror that Gidi Chamdi has.

Just a year ago at this very event, the 2015 rendition of the DSM Shootout, he would put his car into the wall at high speeds, rendering the mega build virtually useless and taking a big step back.

However, as you can see, Gidi has quickly gotten back to the drawing board and put the pieces back together to come back to the table with Alpha G, the Nissan GT-R that’s pushing the limits every step of the way.

This year, Gidi would leave the aforementioned carnage way in the rearview and never even look back as he’s doing better than ever, showing the world what drag racing is all about.
