Glowing 1000 degree Knife vs Liquid Nitrogen

For better or for worse, trends come and go on the video sharing site, YouTube. One of the latest trends that we have noticed picking up is that of folks taking a traditional kitchen knife and exposing it to extreme heat before using it to slice through a variety of random objects.

This time, we check out that very experiment as it comes head-to-head with another one of the internet’s seemingly favorite chemicals in liquid nitrogen. What could possibly happen when the two of these elements are combined together into one? There’s only one way to find out.

In this Mr. gear experiment, we check out what happens when a traditional kitchen knife is heated up and exposed to an incredible temperature change when it goes from glowing hot to stone cold in a matter of what we presume to be seconds.
