Whats GRC? – Red Bull Global Rallycross is a self-owned rallycross series run in the United States. Started in 2009 by Brian Gale and Chip Pankow, the series has gained a fair amount of commercial success. The events are run with heavily modified production cars called Rallycross SuperCars and are run at a wide range of venues from NASCAR superspeedways to street courses and commonly feature a mix of dirt and asphalt.

Some Bucky Lasek GRC info,
Now a two-year veteran of Red Bull Global Rallycross, Bucky Lasek is ready for his third season to be a breakout year.
Through Lasek’s first 14 races as a member of the Subaru Rallycross Team, he’s posted a career-best finish of sixth as he attempts to bring his racing skills on par with his world-class skateboarding talents. The breakout opportunities have been there—a potential top-five finish at New Hampshire last year was thwarted by exhaust troubles, while a red flag in Charlotte took away what may have been a podium run.
But the Maryland native has a huge advantage on his quest to improve in 2014: having driven for the same team since his very first GRC event, his tenure with the same operation is one of the longest in the sport. Making use of that will be crucial as stars like Tanner Foust, Scott Speed, and new teammate Travis Pastrana get acclimated (or in Pastrana’s case, re-acclimated) to different vehicles and surroundings.
Last year, Lasek took home the series’ Sportsmanship Award, a trophy voted on by his peers in the sport. It’s a testament to the goodwill and positive attitude that he brings to every race weekend, but it’s not the ultimate trophy he’s chasing.
The good news? With a new car, two quick teammates in Pastrana and Sverre Isachsen, and the ultimate confidence of his team, the podium seems to be firmly within Lasek’s grasp.
