Guy Finds a Forgotten Warehouse Full of Cars!
We love barn finds, even more so when there are barns full of cars like this one that The Barn Find Hunter himself, Tom Cotter sniffed out in New Hampshire. Among plenty of other footage in this episode of Barn Find Hunter on the Hagerty YouTube channel, Cotter finds a warehouse stuffed with classic Chevy cars that have just been waiting on somebody to come along and shed a little light on them.
The warehouse, which was the man cave of a friend of the guy who contacted Cotter, and Tom of course made the trip immediately to check things out. Among the vintage bowtie rides, a 1966 Nova with a little bit of Corvette flair hiding underneath. Also lurking in the darkness of the expansive storage facility, a straight-axle Nomad drag car, which would obviously hold a spot near and dear to our hearts. There’s also a ’61 Impala bubble top powered by the legendary 409 and could possibly be worth a lot of money. These three cars alone are just a few of the many awesome rides, not all of which are Chevrolets, but actually a wide assortment of projects the late former owner never got around to finishing.
I personally was given a big block, four speed 1962 Impala that could have been mine, but I was 15 or so at the time and I had no idea what the car even was, so I turned it down in favor of something a little more modern. While I enjoyed my Camaro, looking back now, that Impala would be worth enough to put both of my kids through college and still have some left over, so I may be a little salty about that.
Which of these cars do you think is the coolest? What was your first car? Would it be worth a ton of money today too like mine would be? Tell us all about your first ride in the comments on this post on Facebook, we love hearing what you guys drove and maybe continue to drive!
