Guy Gets Tricked into Jumping on a Show Truck at SEMA, Owners Are Not Happy
If you have any familiarity with the SEMA show, which you probably do if you know anything about automobiles at all, you know that it’s all about manufacturers and custom shops bringing out their best possible work in order to try and wow potential investors, sponsors, and big customers. With that in mind, the vehicles that you see the shows will be put together with hundreds of thousands of dollars in parts and labor that all come together as a cumulative effort that is the result of immense amounts of work and money.
With that in mind, the vast majority of people at the show would prefer that you just look at vehicles and don’t touch them. However, in this demonstration, we see things going to an entirely new level. As it turns out, these people who we don’t really know much about end up getting involved in a video that has one man being tricked into jumping on a show truck. As he’s approached with a man that has a microphone in his hand being filled by camera crew, he is asked to mount the truck and start jumping on the bed cover. However, when the actual owner of the truck sees this happening, he comes over and isn’t too happy to see what’s going on and we can’t say that we blame him.
Initially, we really felt bad for the guy that had been tricked into being the odd man out in this embarrassing situation but upon further review, he probably should’ve asked a couple of more questions before simply hopping up to a place that says “no step,” as a man even remarks to the guy holding the microphone. I guess that this just goes to show you that things aren’t always as they seem and just because somebody is holding a microphone and being filmed by camera doesn’t mean that you should trust them. Be sure to check out the video below and offer up your opinion on what went down here.
