Guy Put a Duramax Diesel in a 1967 Camaro… BADASS!
When you take a look around the landscape of muscle cars, you won’t find too many different combinations under the hood. Most of the time, these cars consist of some sort of set up revolving around a V8 whether it be classic or have a more modern touch thrown into the mix.
Now, for the owner of this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro, it looks like he got a little bit tired of doing the same old thing over and over again so he decided to forget what everybody else was doing and throw a completely different power plant into the mix for this first-generation classic.
Instead of a traditional small block, big block, or maybe even some modern LS power, the owner of this Camero decided, instead, to put a Duramax diesel engine under the hood of his ride. I’m sure that when this thing rolls down the street spitting out that familiar diesel truck grumble, it most certainly turns more than its fair share of heads and has people talking about what exactly it is in confusion.
Check out the video down below that takes you inside of this thing and lets you bear witness to one of most exciting parts of a build process in the first start up and drive. After checking out this project that has finally come together, be sure to tell us what you think of such an engine combination in such a classic car.
