Hellcat Blows Parts Everywhere vs Tesla P100D Drag Racing!
Sure, you can pay a good amount of money and buy the most beefed-up and powerful car that you can possibly get your hands on from the factory but no matter how much coin you put out there, if you beat on it, it’s going to break sooner or later.
This time, we follow along with the Tesla Racing Channel as they take their Tesla Model S P100D out to the drag strip and they try to find a good race and do so, coming across a Dodge Challenger Hellcat fitted with Mickey Thompson tires that they thought could’ve been a good matchup.
If the car was able to make it all the way down the track, it very well might’ve been a good battle between electric and supercharged combustion but, unfortunately for this Mopar owner, the race ended right off of the starting line as the driver held the accelerator down and ended up scattering parts everywhere!
Check out the video below that has the Challenger scattering its driveshaft all along the track and the electric Tesla easily skating its way to victory. You know what they say – once you push your current parts past their mechanical limits, it’s always a good excuse to upgrade a little bit!
