Hennessey’s Supercharged GT350 is a Real Showstopper and it Sounds AMAZING

In the world of Mustangs, there are plenty of combinations depending on your wants and needs. For example, if somebody wants to take on the corners, they might pick out something like a Shelby GT350. The machine has grown in popularity for its flat-plane crank and 5.2 L V8 voodoo engine that creates over 500 horsepower.

This time, though, we check in with the machine that has really been taken to a new level. No matter how great cars might be straight from the factory, car enthusiasts just can’t help but want to upgrade them a little bit. One of the places that seem to offer a pretty awesome package to do just that is none other than Hennessey Performance.

In this one, we get to witness the pure sound that’s omitted from the HPE850 GT350. In addition to all of the punch packed from the factory, this performance package packs on even more muscle.

For example, we find the 3.0 L supercharger system that gives the originally naturally aspirated setup a little bit more flavor. With that, we find supporting modifications to help the air really flow like a high-flow throttle body and air induction system. In addition, fuel injectors are added to make sure that there is adequate fuel delivery and other modifications help out with keeping the car cool like a high flow heat exchanger.

There are a lot of videos out there that are focused on going over these cars with a fine-tooth comb. This time, though, we aren’t going over this 850+ horsepower monster from a technical standpoint. Instead, it’s something that we get to just sit back, relax, and listen to. At the end of the day, it’s going to be tough to find somebody who doesn’t enjoy the sound of a supercharged V8 in action.
