Here’s What Happens When You Repurpose a Lamborghini Huracan to be a Drag Racing Monster
When it comes right down to it, the Lamborghini Huracan is a pretty darn awesome car. Straight out of the box, these things are built to impress. However, here in the gearhead community, we just can’t leave things alone. Even something that has been meticulously engineered and built by some of the finest engineers in the world can always be better.
At the end of the day, these things were built with street use in mind. With that, we have found that they are definitely capable of being turned up a little bit to really reach out and touch the stars for someone looking for more of a purpose-oriented machine.
One company that has become the most synonymous with Lamborghini performance is certainly Underground Racing. We would spout off a list off all of the records that they hold and some of the most impressive accomplishments but that list is simply too long for this article. Needless to say, though, they are one of the biggest and best when it comes to building Lamborghini’s platforms to perfection.
This time, we tune in with That Racing Channel as they check in with an exceptional version of one of the Underground Lamborghinis. The car in question creates an astonishing 3500 hp. Each and every pony was on display at TX2k as the car revved to a screaming 10,000 RPM. If you thought that any regular old Lamborghini was crazy at those sort of RPM, just imagine one that’s built and creating 3500 hp screaming those high notes.
Down below, the folks over at TRC really dig into the car and give us an idea of what it’s all about in addition to showing us how it performs. There’s just something about machines like these stretching out their legs that can really send a chill down the spine.
