Here’s What the Electric Truck Market Will Look Like Over the Next Year (Who Will Win?)
For years, different major automakers have been trying to tap into the electric vehicle market. While there have been several attempts, it ended up being a newcomer to change the auto market forever. Tesla seems to be the first widely excepted electric vehicle that might even go so far as pushing us toward the next step in transportation evolution, pushing the car as we know it to a new level.
With their most recent model, Tesla announced that they will be getting in on the pickup truck market. With the Cybertruck, the brand is offering something that looks nothing like anything we’ve really seen on the roads before, at least not in a mass produced fashion.
While the obscure Cybertruck will release in late 2021, competitors have been hard at work as well with the aim of taking down some market share. In fact, these days, it seems like just about everybody has the plan of bringing an electric offering to market. There have even been a couple of new companies poking their heads in to see if they can seize the moment as well, building their brand off of the shift in power source since it has proven to be a challenge for preexisting automakers.
This time, thanks to CNBC, we get to dive into exactly that topic, seeing just how the market is going to look within a year or two. This video takes on the concept of what they think of the electric pickup truck race and how it’s going to turn out.
As of right now, it does seem as if it’s hard to determine who is going to be the most popular at the end of the day. However, the storyline remains the same to see if competitors will be able to catch up to the substantial advantage that Tesla has managed to put together over the last couple of years.
