Here’s Why the Tesla Model X is an Awful Car

When it comes to cars that are highly acclaimed by the critics, it seems like the Tesla nameplate has a near bulletproof reputation as the company seems to have somehow taken the concept of the electric vehicle and revolutionized it to the point where it actually has become cool has gathered together quite the following. It really seems to be an idea that has come out of left field, not so much the electric car as a whole, but the idea of it being trendy and luxurious, and as such, the company has gathered quite the amount of praise for their efforts.

I mean, who wouldn’t want to be behind the wheel of something that’s the brainchild of the Elon Musk? However, it doesn’t seem as if everybody has been won over by exactly what Tesla has to offer. Doug DeMuro has offered some pretty unique perspective on the car community and, as such, he has become one of our personal favorites, however, it really doesn’t seem like his view on Tesla’s products are in line with everybody else’s. In fact, he has been known to pick the cars apart quite a bit, even to the point where Tesla fanatics might be a little bit perturbed by what he has to say.

In this one, we go through the Tesla Model X with DeMuro, getting the rundown of the electric SUV that has a lot of obscure features that make it stand out from the crowd and Doug gives us quite the sarcastic review, making fun of people who endlessly bash this vehicle while throwing a little bit of his own opinion in there as well. While it seems like Mr. DeMuro is admitting that the Tesla does have some flaws, it really seems like the Model X has managed to win over one of the company’s biggest critics. It’s always good to hear an honest perspective, especially when it’s from someone who is ready to admit that they have been converted and had their opinion changed by a manufacturer who is out there doing things right, getting themselves into the doubters’ good graces.
