How Do They Test Leaf Springs? Tiger Leaf Spring Load Test
When it comes to creating the perfect car parts, it isn’t just about slapping molds together and cranking out parts in bulk. The parts need to be tested first to make sure that they’re up to par.
This time, we get to check out a pretty neat test in leaf spring load testing that the producer, Tiger, says is for “classification in order to ensure the right posture of the vehicle when installed. The load test verifies that all the component parts of our Tiger leaf springs including materials, base-fixings are fit for task and loading it is designed for.”
Take a look as the springs are bent to the max to make sure that they’re just right before being sent out to the eventual customer.
The testing process can be caught in the video below as we get a little behind the scenes peek. We’re not sure about you, but we feel like one of these things is going to snap at any minute!
