How Many People Can You Fit in a Honda Civic? Real Deal Hit and Run
It’s an act we’ve seen as long as there has been travelling circuses, but this time it was no act, and certainly not funny, at least not for the other driver in the video. The short clip opens with a relatively minor rear end collision, a small compact hatchback rear ending an Audi sedan. Not a huge deal, the driver will swap insurance information and await the arrival of a police officer to south things out, right?
No, that’s not what happens at all. Instead, the doors of the hatchback come flying open and out jumps an entire baseball team’s worth of men, each of whom scamper back down the street and into obscurity as if their lives descended on their escape from the scene of this fender bender. Maybe it did, as they were obviously doing something illegal just by having that many people stuffed into a car that’s a tight fit for four adults. As the passengers flee out of sight, the driver stops and casually walks back toward the car, giving the impression at least one of them is going to stay and be accountable for the accident. He calmly opens the door, reaches inside, then turns to run again.
As he runs past the rear of the car, he stops again, turning back toward the hatch and reaching out to open it, allowing the final member of the group to leap from the back of the car and race toward freedom. A total of nine men got our of this car, nearly doubling it’s intended capacity, and streaked down the sidewalk and out of the view of the camera, leaving an onlooker and the driver of the Audi looking quite puzzled and unsure of what exactly they need to do. Hopefully the Audi driver had good insurance that included uninsured motorist coverage, because he’s certainly not getting anything from the guys who piled out of that hatchback and vanished from the scene in seconds.
